Dental Exam & X-Rays

During your preventive dental visit, our family dentists in Palo Alto will perform an oral exam to check your gum and teeth health. Depending on the condition of your oral health and frequency of your visits, our Cambridge Dental Studio dentists may also do a dental x-rays to look for oral health concerns, such as cavities, gum disease, and bone loss, that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Teeth Cleaning

A dental hygienist will clean your teeth to remove plaque and tartar that can build up and lead to cavities, bad breath, and more serious periodontal diseases. The hygienist will also floss your teeth. Finally the dentist will provide you with tips on good oral care, including the right way to brush and floss your teeth.

Fluoride Treatments

After the cleaning, the hygienist will apply fluoride treatment to your teeth. Fluoride is a mineral that protects your teeth and prevents cavities and decay.
